Pedro has an extensive experience in top management advising and in leading high impact transformation projects for world class financial institutions. Prior to joining Kearney, he served as General Manager and as member of the Group Management Committee of Banco Santander. In Santander, Pedro was directly responsible for the areas of IT, Operations, Organization, Costs and HHRR and before that, he worked in McKinsey & Company for more than 20 years .

Along his career as consultant he has been responsible for a notable client engagements which include topics as multichannel management strategy and development; complete branch network business model, together with modelling and implementation of management systems; international expansion strategy and M&A candidates evaluation; post-merger integration management of major retail banks; synergies assessment and materialization process; multiple product/client strategies including “bank–assurance”; major cost reduction and “integrated expense management” programs; creation of IT and Operations "global models” and global procurement in major multinational banks.

Under his tenure, the IBERIA Financial Institutions Group has grown its client base and effectively expanded its existing relationships. Pedro holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York and he is a graduate in Economics and Law from ICADE in Madrid.
